Its is a very open, bright and very clean. Staff is busy but efficient. My favorite item is their Reuben. It is a big sandwich but so so good! They do take out and again, very efficient. I've heard it is run well by mgmt. Very important. I recommend.

So having consumed many excellent bagel's whilst living in NYC, I'm always comparing local versions against that standard. 18 bagel's comes pretty close. I tried the pumpernickel and the everything. The pumpernickel was good texture wise but weak in flavor. The everything bagel was pretty good. No paroxysm of joy, but a competent bagel. Service was quick and friendly. I walked in and ordered the bagel's to go with no preparation. Took them home, popped them into the toaster and added my own vegan cream cheese. 18 bagel's does offer vegan cream cheese by the way. So that's another plus. Update: I went back for more. Waited what seemed a long time for a simple bag of unsliced and untoasted bagel's. Almost every person behind me received their order before me. Why?

This place is great. I am surprised to see so many negative reviews. The bagels are all made their fresh and taste fantastic. The place is very nice and the employees are very friendly. I will definitely be going again and recommend it to anyone looking for a real bagel place.

Incredibly delicious food, fair pricing. I wish there were more outside seating, but they're doing what they can with what they have. It was a little slow, which is why 4 stars. I'll be back...and I'm not that big a bagel fan.

Waited a very long time. My $9 Lox Bagel was burnt, and it was like eating a brick (I’ve never eaten a brick, but it was probably comparable), and hardly any salmon on it. You guys need to pay more attention to the customers coming to order and less on the to-go and uber orders. Since when does it make sense to prioritize these over a customer who is ‘actually’ in your store... Here is an idea, have 2 separate food lines. One for physical in store customers and the other for any to-go or online orders. Some of your employees didn’t seem like they cared enough to be there too. For example, saw an employee bring cream out to the station while she was trailing a stream of cream on the ground that followed her. She turned around and saw she spilled it, but never cleaned it up (even 10 minutes later it was still there). Waiting for someone to slip. Just was not impressed at all, and most likely won’t be back due to this experience.
